Architecture of Analogy

The Author

Cameron McEwan studied architecture at Dundee School of Architecture followed by a PhD on the architect Aldo Rossi and the Analogical City at the Geddes Institute for Urban Research, University of Dundee, Scotland. Framed by the intersection of research, design and teaching, Cameron’s work focuses on urban scale architectural design projects and the history and theories of the city. At Dundee School of Architecture, Cameron co-teaches a Masters Unit titled “Rooms and Cities” and lectures on the History and Theory programme. At the School of Arts, Edinburgh Napier University, Cameron teaches on the Critical Context programme and lectures in urban studies. He undertakes urban architectural design projects and is an Associate of the AE Foundation, an independent organisation for architecture and education.
